Sixth Annual Jamaica Fiber Festival

10:00AM to 4:00PM
Join us in Jamaica as we celebrate spring and our history of merino sheep keeping.  It's a community street fair along Main Street in Jamaica Village (3796 VT Rte 30, Jamaica VT 05343) with something for everyone.  Watch sheep shearing, see spinners making the wool into yarn, take a turn at the loom weaving the wool yarn.  Kids activities, live music, food and more!

Newfane Art Show

First annual Newfane Fine Art Show at the Union Hall in Newfane, VT, hosted by The Newfane Business Association.  Artists of Windham County are encouraged to apply for acceptance into this professionally juried show.  For this groundbreaking year we have Jim Urbaska, Painter; Kiersten Hanna, Photographer; and Andy Yoder, Sculptor as jurists.  Linda Rubinstein, past education director for the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center and current co-curator of Arts Bridge, will act as judge.
